Ms. Natashia Doolittle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2009 and a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health in 2011, both from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with an interest in health equity and cardiovascular health. Currently, she is the Associate Manager for Nutrition and Obesity Initiatives at the American Heart Association in Dallas, Texas. There she works on various programs targeting childhood obesity including the NFL PLAY 60 Challenge and Simply Cooking with Heart. Prior to joining the American Heart Association, Natashia worked as a community health educator at the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children in Waco and as a graduate research assistant at Baylor University. Over the past 6 years she has devoted her time to volunteering with various health education programs in her community and is very passionate about her work. She is excited to be working with the More Than A Picnic Program and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy life.
